Our vision is to create one of the most admired global sports brands in the world under the strong brand of 'The Ultimate Solo Challenge'. 2. Greater competition through more stopovers as the global roadshow of ocean racing

3. A truly accessible, high tech and state of the art ocean racing event, communicated via an innovative and integrated multi-language media program

With a committed sponsor onboard and working within the heart of the race management team, we believe we have the right people in place, the best assets at hand and the financial backing to create a new dimension on ocean racing.

The VELUX 5 OCEANS will be an event that actively rewards participants through attractive value-in-kind packages in a number of key areas (identified through feedback from skippers):

- Logistics / Freight (partnerships to limit or eliminate costs)

- Communications (partnerships to limit or eliminate costs for airtime at sea, as well as recording-editing-transmission software and hardware onboard)

- Accommodation (partnerships to limit or eliminate costs for in port hotels and flats)

- Transportation (partnerships to limit or eliminate costs for team flights and cars)

- Training (offering specialist courses in navigation and media technology, such as MaxSea to race entrants)

 

Our dedicated Business Development Manager will also seek partnerships with suppliers in many other areas related to the sailing and onshore activities to assist skippers. We are seeking to help skippers and boat sponsors in a number of ways to create a low-cost event with high media visibility, thus increasing the relative returns on investment.
