The VELUX 5 OCEANS is seeking to create a new dimension in ocean racing by seeking to create a truly international line up of skippers.

The VELUX 5 OCEANS will be an event that actively rewards participants through attractive value-in-kind packages and financial rewards.

The race management team includes a business development manager whose mission is to negotiate value-in-kind partnerships. Following feedback from all the IMOCA skippers and sponsors, the most important areas to offer financial assistance and packages are:

1. Logistics / Freight

2. Communications (airtime, recording-editing-transmission software and hardware)

3. Accommodation (in port hotels and flats)

4. Transportation (flights, car)

As well as offering a beneficial package and continual support for sponsors and skippers within the IMOCA fleet, the VELUX 5 OCEANS would like to help aspiring sailors with the skill and ambition to make the start line of the next race through identifying potential entrants from diverse nations across Europe (Germany, Denmark, Poland, Russia, Italy), Australia/New Zealand, USA.

The Race Management will also assist with winning sponsorship and media communication efforts as well as delivering value-in-kind and financial incentives to secure yacht and support team.
